We know that what is written in the Holy Sciptures is purposeful and I used to think ; The Bible is like a map giving directions - if we read and study this, we will discover new information and learn something from ancient history after all everything is written for a reason. Herein also is found the law and warnings given by God - these warnings to kings, judges and rulers over lands and people.

Now there are people who disregard the authority of God and so when placed under the rule of man who might go against God - it is in this that people must learn their lessons. More is discovered in the Holy Scriptures about this after prayer one day guided to read the price people pay for ignoring God and his laws, even allowing themselves to be turned against each other...robbed and oppressed. They forget!
