Jesus Calms the Storm
That day when evening came, he (Jesus) said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Mark 4:35-41
It is one thing to beleive..it is another to have faith. Faith is with knowing and trusting God. It was for many years that I had experiences that were to pave the way to trusting God.
There are people who want powers and not considering that when we interfere with the courseof nature chaos can be created. Forcing relationship for marriage is not a happy marriage - two people joining hearts and souls by free will for all the right reasons is sacred.
Years ago I had an experience of a freak car crash after builders nails on the road resulted with two tyres blown, the car spinning at high speed and the angry motorway service manager telling me I had damaged the crash barriers in three places. Other drivers did the sign of the cross that I survived. What is most extraordinary about this, the car steering wheel was spinning out of control (something like out of the omen movie) and despite crashing in three places, eventually opening my eyes from still having my hands in prayer - the car was facing the right direction and parked on the hard shoulder. It was THAT experience that Proved to me that God Protects us.
If I keep praying for global Peace and Healing, with other people joining in this prayer, then we have a likely chance to influence this world in a positive way. The wars have root causes and these root causes need healing - going back to the ancient times. Let it be - let it happen.
A lawyer is stomping his temper demanding when Jesus is returning - are people ready for his return. Are there still people manipulating powers and doing so to harm people?
Apparently the demons flee at hearing Jesus name :)

We are told whatever we pray for in the name of Jesus it will be done. He is the person who is in control - he sees and knows what is happening on this earth. He knows the enemy!
